About Us
Artistic and Music Director - Bridget Biggar
Bridget is the founder and Artistic Director of BB Theatre Productions. She has worked extensively in music theatre as a musical director, director, performer and musician, before lockdown music directing Lucky Stiff for BBTP at The Edinburgh Fringe 2019. Her credits include music directing Assassins (Edinburgh Fringe 2016), Merrily We Roll Along (Edinburgh Fringe 2017), Godspell, Singing in the Rain, Little Shop of Horrors and award-winning productions of Follies and Miss Saigon.
She studied music at Hull and Durham University, and also has a Masters Degree in Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania.
Director - TJ Lloyd
TJ studied musical theatre at the BRIT School of Performing Arts and Technology. His performing credits include: Guys & Dolls (Sheffield Crucible), Aladdin (Loughborough Town Hall and New Brighton), Spelling Bee (Drayton Arms), Bananaman The Musical (Southwark Playhouse), Merrily We Roll Along (Edinburgh Fringe 2017) and Elegies for Angels, Punks & Raging Queens (OBIE Theatre).
His directing credits include: Shrek, Into the Woods, The Wizard of Oz, Whistle down the Wind, The Wedding Singer, The Wiz, Kiss Me Kate, The Boy Friend, Spelling Bee, Oklahoma.
TJ was awarded the NODA Accolade of Excellence for his productions of Into the Woods and The Boy Friend
Assistant MD and Repetiteur - Simon Lindley
Simon studied music at Royal Holloway University of London. Since graduating, he works as an accompanist and repetiteur in and around London.
Simon is delighted to join the BB Theatre Team as Assistant Musical Director.
Credits as Assistant MD include: Godspell; Singing in the Rain; Sweet Charity; Mack and Mable; Little shop of Horros; Jesus Christ Superstar; and Fame.
Lighting Designer - John Hart
John has been working as a theatrical lighting designer for over 10 years. He had the privilege of learning from the late BBC lighting designer Ian Dow. He has worked professionally across the Surrey and London areas including Sadler's Wells. John specialises in lighting control adn works for Electronic Theatre Conctrols (ETC), supporting some of the largest control systems in the world including the Disney Theme Parks and the 202 Lion King tour.
Production Manager - Pippa Eden
Pippa studied music at the University of Sheffield and then trained as a teacher. She regularly music directs and plays flute/piccolo for local societies, in between a busy job as Deputy Head of a junior school.
Without her, there would be no props, costumes, venues, transportation, legals, media, ticketeting, programmes, front of house .... you get the picture
